I’d like to share this one happy, playful, celebrating family!  It was time for a first birthday for M and so both sets of grandparents arrived from Canada to help celebrate!  We played on the swing…lots…rode the tricycle, blew bubbles, played ring around the rosie, pretended in the play kitchen, read books, laughed, giggled, had a snack, ran around and clicked lots of photos!  I think you’ll see just how much fun this family is…take a look.

Happy FIRST birthday little sweet M!!

blogcalendar

Each year, I have the privilege of meeting a wonderful family that has adopted a child from China.  FCC of Indiana creates a calendar  each year to raise money for their organization and to help worthy causes.  This year, a considerable portion of sales went to help families that suffered from the massive earthquake.

This year’s calendar girl was a wonderful 12 year old girl, Carrie.  Carrie loves her dogs and soccer!  And, just like most 12 year olds she doesn’t know how beautiful she really is…

These are just a few of the photos that may end up as the cover of the 2010 From China with Love calendar!

I adore this family!  They are one cozy, happy family who appreciates time together and capturing those special moments throughout the year.

One of my favorite offerings through fotoWonder is a documentary package.  The documentary package allows me to have several sessions over a one year period and then at the end I take the favorite images from all the sessions and create a timeless coffee table book.  Clients are still able to share their family with friends through their private online galleries and order wall prints and gift prints from each session.

I think having several sessions over one year make the sessions a bit more relaxed.  More relaxed=more laughter, more smiles and more real moments!

Email anne@fotowonder.com for more information.

And, now on to more images from this great documentary session at Traders Point Creamery…enjoy!

If you are following along on the blog, you have seen these kids and their moms before.  And, I have to admit that I love every time their names appear on my calendar because I know it’s going to be a great session.

These two women are the doctors behind via OB/GYN.  I met Dr Indy Lane at a photo session for her 2 young daughters while I was pregnant with Claire, my third a couple of year ago.  And, I met Dr Amy Hayes , a little over a year ago when her Emma was just a newborn.  It seems like yesterday!

So after quite a few sessions and lots of time to chat I can confidently say that both of these women would be a terrific doctor for any of you needing ob/gyn services.  I can see the passion they have for their profession.  Through conversations with them, I know that they would be both active listeners and full of the right information when needed.  I’ve witnessed the dr-patient relationship while I photographed a birth by c section with Dr Lane.   And, I know what wonderful dedicated mothers they are themselves.

And, not only our these 2 women terrific their office is just beautiful as well!

And as much as I love chit chatting and taking photos leisurely, Miss Emma was a bit on the excited side when I said we were all done….

hhhmmmm….and this was just a mini session…20 mins and she was ready for a treat!

Thanks for letting me get to know both of you and your families!  It is such a pleasure…

We met at the Indianapolis Museum of Art to walk and talk and take photos.  The IMA is definitely of mine and clients for a picture perfect background!

I love newborns!  And, what I really love about sessions with newborns is that I always get at least a chance or two to hold and cuddle them.  With my baby nearing 2 1/2 I miss those newborn smells and sounds and cuddles.

I mean just look how small and miraculous he is!
