Thankful, thankful, Thankful!!

So thankful for my family, my kids, my life and all the love that surrounds me.

And, thankful for all the families I’ve met this year.  Thank you for sharing your intimate, humorous and trying moments with me.  Thank you for letting me share my photography with you!

Just like most sessions with 2  year olds, this little one wasn’t too impressed by tricks.  I tried to explain that I have kids, I like to play, I’ll dig in the dirt, do whatever you say…but he wasn’t interested in bossing me around.

So, I went with it and captured the smiles as he played with his mom and dad and some serious faces when I got too involved.  No matter, he was just as adorable as ever!  And, I just know he is going to make a super duper big brother.

Another wonderful family!  This mini session STARTED just as the sun was starting to set.  We played in the golden light which quickly turned to a coldish evening.  And, as we ended the session the moon was rising!  REALLY.  I even caught it in a few photos.  Thank you so much for shivering through our session.

This little one reminded me of my first child…a bit reserved, maybe even shy.  But, with a little space and time the laughter and playing emerges.  And, it is so worth waiting for.  Loved meeting this family!

I have to admit, I felt like I was talking my own son a few times during this session…you know how moms are  ”just look at those gorgeous brown eyes!”  I hope I didn’t scare him too much…

What lovely weather and beautiful leaves we had at this years Holliday park mini sessions!  It was so nice to see one of my regular families again this year.  And, love your new furry family member.
